The Putnam County Land Trust will hold its annual membership meeting on Sunday, September 8th at 4 pm at the Dorrie O Brien House, 63 Cobb Road in Brewster. The meeting is open to the public. The guest speaker will by Tyge Rugenstein, the Chief Operating Officer of Madava Farms in Dover Plains, New York, producer of Crown Maple Syrup. His presentation will focus on the work Madava Sugar Maple LLC is doing with local land owners to promote conservation of lands as working forests. The election of six trustees by the membership, a review of the past year and a look at the coming year will be part of the meeting as well. See you there!
