Town of Carmel – 19.3 Acres.

Preserve Overview:  Gift of Luther Baumgartner, 1974. These 19.3 acres of rocky, wooded hilltop support a variety of plant communities, including fern glens, mosses, and low-bush blueberry, as well as a variety of oaks and other mature trees.

Directions: From Rt. 6 in Carmel, turn onto Stoneleigh Ave. Travel 1.7 miles and make right onto Drewville Rd. After 1.2 miles make left onto Cherry Hill Rd. Go 0.8 mile and make right onto Columbus. Continue 0.3 mile and make right onto Bucyrus Ave. See preserve sign on right at end of cul-de-sac. Limited parking.
